Chapel Green Well

Well mid to late 18th Century (probable)

The well is in sandstone with a cast iron pipe. It consists of a circular bollard about 500 millimetres in diameter, and 1 metre high. It has a square base, an octagonal abacus and a hemispherical cap. On the southeast side, the pipe discharges water into a sunken pool surrounded by dressed stone slabs, and with a stepped side to the east
